Trustcare-A Life-Saving Android Application

Abstract

Blood is an entity which is very abundant in this world, yet it seems to become scarce when it comes to immediate need in case of emergency. We live in this world where a lot of blood is being needed every hour, every minute and every second due to a lot of accidents and vulnerable situations. As this becomes a hectic scenario for the victims of such people in urgent need of blood, we introduce our app “TrustCare”, which overcomes this difficulty. Our app doesn’t just provide the contact details and location of the donor just like that, rather it uses authentication for each and every seeker in need of blood through chief doctors. It also shows the location of the address provided by the donor to the seeker and the exact geographical location of the seeker to the donor for easy traceability on the map. All the more, our app also includes additional features like showing the location of the rare life-saving medicine, organ donation centres, government approved accident centres and also blood banks. This application tends to display its salient features not only as a time saver, but also as a life saver. The purpose of the development of this app is not just a mere outcome of a good idea, rather it is something which will be beneficial for the entire society.
