Automated Cumulative Update Approach for Organizations

Abstract

Software patch management in one of the most important and critical aspect from business perspective in organizations of all sizes. It is associated with the financial and risk management perspective of the organization. Patch management is very crucial to safeguard the software products from security vulnerabilities. There is a need for an effective patch management model that could be deployed in the organizations. The patch object fetching and software documentation process is a manual process prone to many errors. This study aims at providing an end-to-end automation model for cumulative updates of various software products. This ensures timely release of bug fixes as patches and a good customer experience.
