Nurse Scheduling Problem using Linear Programming Problem for Day-wise Schedule

Abstract

Nurse Scheduling Problem is a branch of Operations Research, helps the hospital management to construct time/day schedule for the staff nurses so as to maintain the discipline of the hospital and minimising the cost as well. This article identifies the problem of nurses who are available in the hospital according to day wise schedule and solving the same by dual simplex method.
