A Review Paper on Self Compacting Concrete Using MetakaolineAnd Rice Husk Ash as a Cement Replacement

Abstract

The self compacting concrete is the concrete that flow through the formwork and compaction of this concrete is done in the concrete itself. The compaction of SCC done by the weight of the concrete itself.In this investigation there is the use of Metakaoline and Rice husk ash and it is found to be very useful in the modification of the properties of concrete. In this investigation there is a use of many materials such as fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, cement, metakaoline, rice husk ash and these materials were tested for their physical properties. The Objectives of this investigation is to find out that what is the effect of MK and RHA in the self compacting concrete and how the speed of construction can be increased by using SCC.
