FEM Analysis of Steel Beam Column Joint by using Cantilever Weight and Acceleration

Mr. Vishawadeep Shivaji Ghodajkar, Dr. R. M. Sawant

Abstract

Steel portal frames conventional conniving presume that Semi rigid steel beam to column joint connections on the behavior of steel frames and their considerable economic benefits are acknowledge nowadays, many structural analyses still consider connections as further fixed or pinned. For that basis, there is be need of the generate moment rotation responses of semi rigid connections that can be used for analysis and design prefer. The joints connection can be found using FEM models. The observation of result it is done that different load with acceleration applied on the three different connection in one of that top and seat angle connection having less stresses produced as compare to double web angle connection and extended end plate connection.
