Abstract

Videos play an important role in our day to day life. Different types of video contents have been emerged during past few years. The emanation of dedicated websites as well as the availability of portable media devices had increased value of video in eyes of the generic legion. But the people who are deaf, hard of hearing and illiterate cannot understand the content of the video. Here, the relevance of subtitle arised. Diverse softwares are up for grabs nowadays but all requires pervasive aid of user. Hence a more automated concept is envisaged. This paper pinout a way to generate subtitles succeeding standards by using speech recognition. Three modules are present-Eliciting audio from video, speech recognition and subtitle generation.
