Analysis of a Multi-storied Building using RISA 3D® software

Abstract


This study is a part of the mini project done by the students.  A real timeG+4 residential multi-storey building is modeled using a commercial package RISA 3D®. The plan of the building is used as the starting point for this study.  The main objective is to model a real-time residential building using a commercial package and perform the linear static analysis.  The necessary IS Codal provisions have been checked for Limit State of Strength and Serviceability.  Necessary checks were done to ensure safety of the structure.  The structure is found to be safe.  The Load Moment curves and the reinforcement details were plotted.
