Model Reference Adaptive Control Method to Control Voltage of Distribution Power System

Abstract


Rather than going to the conventional method of voltage control method, using modern control strategy such as model reference adaptive control method voltage level of distribution system can be controlled with high accuracy. In this paper model reference adaptive control method is used to control voltage of distribution system. In the matlab Simulink environment system model and reference model giving output variable as voltage is developed and model reference control strategy is applied which meets desired specification of output voltage.
