Performance of FRP Bars Strengthened Beams: A Review

Abstract


The utilization of Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) materials in the auxiliary repair market, worries over the execution of FRP materials in flame conditions are currently at the cutting edge of examination works. Remotely fortified FRP sheets improve the shear and flexural limit of scaffolds and different structures.The analytical and numerical study of flexural and shear performance of beams strengthened by FRP materials as sheets and bars shows good performances to decrease structural failures. Now a days investigators prefer analytical and numerical study as offer less error, time and highly reliable than experimental studies. This paper portrays a brief review on the results of an ongoing study to document the performance of FRP-strengthened reinforced concrete structures.
