Role of Simulation in Civil Engineering Education in India

Abstract


Since the last couple of decades, much attention has been paid to engineering education in India. Various commercial simulation software tools and simulator such as mathematical application packages, electronics CAD tools, learning management systems, multimedia tools and general purpose tools supports engineering education. Present paper gives an outlook on the simulation tools use in different civil engineering courses as well as use in industry for different work purposes.
