Renewable Energy Powered Rover with Robotic Arm Using Dual Power Source

Abstract


Embedded system based renewable energy powered rover with robotic arm using dual power source, deals with an optimized charging of batteries by means of tracked solar panels. The implementation of the complete energy management system is applied to a rover that is controlled through mobile phone using GSM network. This is used in order to complete the process of charging the battery independently while the other battery provides all the energy consumed by the rover. It has an arm for picking stones or other small objects from ground with the help of GSM using flex sensor. It has two power sources charging independently. GSM communication is used for controlling rover.
