Abstract

LEO satellite networks provide broadband service regardless of user location. LEO satellites are preferred choice due to low propagation delay, efficient frequency spectrum utilization, and low requirement for the ground terminals power supply. In this article a comprehensive survey on existing protocols for inter satellite communication in LEO satellites is investigated in depth. Routing protocol plays an important role in inter satellite communication. Satellite revolves around the orbit so the footprint move along cause’s frequent hand over between satellites. Traffic between Satellites also changes there by QOS become an important consideration. In this article a survey on routing protocols is taken by considering QOS issues.
