Peculiar Method for Solving the Transportation Problem

Abstract


Transportation problem plays an important role in our economy and administrative decision making. Basically transportation problem is a minimization model. In this paper to introduce a new approach to solve Transportation problem namely alternate method for solving transportation problem. An example using Alternate methods and the existing North West Corner rule. Least cost method has been solved and compared it.
