Improved Quality Designing Methodology in Skip-lot Sampling Plan-V for Final Products

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to determine the quality measures for Skip-lot sampling plan - V with the reference plan of Repetitive Deferred Sampling plan indexed through four kinds of Quality Regions and its Operating Ratios. Tables and procedures are simulated for the selection of the parameter of the plan. Numerical illustrations are also given for the shop floor applications for manufacturing Industries. Quality decision Region (QDR) indexed plan provides a way for optimum sampling plan given higher quality, rather than point wise description of concerning quality parameters. Quality region proposes wider potential and practical application in manufacturing sectors for higher quality attainment for final product.
