History of Electric Power in India (1890–2015)

Abstract

This paper gives an overview of the history of electric power in India till 2015. India is day by day becoming the core of business destinations. This has been made possible by the growth and huge presence of power plants in India. India has been successful in making an economic growth in last two decades. And, this is also due to the good infrastructure. The power sector has done a tremendous progress after independence of India. This paper has certain facts to know about the history and till date progress about the power sectors in India.
