Design of Energy Efficient High Power White Led Based Street Lights Considering National Lighting Code

Prof.Vikhan G B, Mr. Abhilash S, Prof. Gururaj G

Abstract

Providing lighting to the nation is the very important parameter in our daily life, because as we know during night we need to depend on artificial lighting to work. Nowadays lots of innovation are happening to wards green energy and energy saving sector. Savings of power is very important for our future, inorder to reduce the power without compromising in uniformity and lux level in street lighting. In this we compare with latest innovative leds with Secondary optic lenses to get the more efficient less power street lights. In this we considered survey of existing conventional lane lights like sodium vapour replace with LEDs, by considering various design aspects such as lighting design using dialux simulation. The main intension about this study is to reduce the cost  by providing lane lighting system should permit users friendly with good visibility  more efficient uniform lights over the roads.
