Automobile Tracking and Parameter Monitoring using GPS and GSM

Abstract


Automobile tracking and health monitoring system is designed to track the location of vehicles with various parameters such as fuel level, ignition status, engine temperature etc. Global Positioning System (GPS) is widely used for navigation and tracking purpose. We are also using GPS to get location information of the vehicle and various sensors are used to monitor different parameters of vehicle. These data is then send to the server using GSM technology. The proposed system is specially designed for the transporters who run large number of vehicle and covers wide range of locations. This system will provide them a way to keep track of their vehicles and also avoid any misuses. In this system, we are using GPS module, GSM module, Sensors and Arduino Microcontroller.
