Essence of Manual Sketching in Digital World (The ease and use of perspective grids)

Abstract


In the realm of architectural teaching profession, making student realise and visualise the various forms and spaces around them through sketching and perspective drawing becomes very important a task. To encourage this at the initial semesters of the B.Architecture course of five year program, it is ideal to introduce the value of using various architectural drawing techniques and ready to use perspective grids at the different stages of design development and its visualization. This paper explores the importance and use of the ready perspective grids.
