Performance Analysis of Sandwithed Composite Plates Used for Vibration Absorption
Abstract
The layout of a system foundation is more complex than of a foundation which supports only static loads. If a device is rigidly bolted to the floor, the vibratory movement of the system itself can be reduced, however the vibration transmitted to the floor will be large. This may produce harmful consequences even at massive distances.on this work, an isolation pads are evolved using Natural rubber, Polyurethane and zinc aluminum alloy in the form of composite pads. The study four different combinations using Natural rubber, Polyurethane and zinc aluminum alloy. Numerical analysis is carried out to obtain transmitted accelerations at base plate. Experimentation is done on the set up by using FFT analyzer tool to get the acceleration results at base plate.
