Mathematical Modeling and computer simulation algorithm for software development through Nanocomposite membrane Transport Process by Using Bovine serum albumin Solution
Abstract
In this present investigation, a mathematical simulation of Nanofiltration (NF) process of BSA solution through flat sheet membranes. The simulation is carried out by solving the convective diffusional Equation (CDE) for mass balance to predict permeate flux behavior in a dead end NF cell. To develop model the non linear mathematical regression technique is used for obtaining experimental data and also for calculating pure water flux on the obtained values of permeate rejection on CA/PVA blended composite(Cellulose acetate /Polyvinyl acetate). The blended nanocomposite membrane properties were fitted in curve fitting to get the values of membrane permeability coefficient (Pm), membrane reflection coefficient (σ) and original mass transfer coefficient (k). The developed mathematical model is tested for the stability and accuracy on obtained numerical values by varying the key membrane parameters such as the numerical time step (t).and membrane pressure (p).
