IOT BASED WATER METERING SYSTEM

Abstract

Water scarcity and water stress issues pose a serious threat to the global population. Water scarcity affects more than 4 billion people in the world.  The major problem is water shortage. Normal meters are not comfort, and it wastes resources.This paper main intention is introduce particular water measurement system by using this system we can reduce the rate at which water using in home. Here want to install this system in home. How much of water usage is measured by water flow sensor.Here I am using solenoid electro-valve to reduce the overflow of water.On that moment people thinking to safely usage of water.The system uses the IEEE 802.15.4 standard embedded in Contiki OS LibCoAP as an open-source application to create a robust and intelligent system
