Review on Cross Layer Design Approach
Abstract
Internet has become everyday utility. Internet is ubiquitous. Cross-layer approach is considered hugely in mobile networks because of the layered approach inability to give the required performance. There are many trade-offs associated with the use of Cross-layer approach. It breaches the basic principles of layered approach and may compromise the robust nature of the Internet. In this article, justification the role of Cross-layer approach is presented, and difficult analysis of it is done to identify its limitations.
