Performance of Fibre Reinforced Concrete by Using Pozzolana

Alok Kumar Srivastava, Parmod Saharan

Abstract

High performance concrete is a concrete that meets special combinations of performance and equality requirements that cannot always be achieved generally using popularly constituents and normal mixing, placing, and curing practices. It is very difficult to get a product which fulfills all the properties. So, the different pozzolanic materials like Silica fume, Rice husk ash, Fly ash are some of the pozzolanic materials which can be used in concrete. We used Recron fibre in different percentage, i.e., 0.00%, 0.10%, 0.20%, 0.30% of total weight of concrete and casting was done.  We make variation in percentage of silica fume with the replacement of cement keeping constant fiber content and concrete was casted. We prepared mortar, cubes, prism and finally compressive test, flexural test are conducted.
