A Study on Hybrid Composite using Areca and Eucalyptus Fiber by using Epoxy Resin

Abstract


Mechanical properties of the fiber separated from the areca and eucalyptus are resolved and contrasted and the other known regular fiber coir. Further these areca strands were synthetically treated and the impact of this treatment on fiber quality is concentrated on. Areca fiber is treated with soluble base treatment with NaoH arrangement and eucalyptus fiber is promptly accessible as sheet structure and areca can be treated with the antacid treatment to get great quality. Composite covers were set up with various introductions like 00, 450, 900and slashed filaments. Malleable test, flexural test and effect test utilizing charpy strategy tests on these covers were done. Properties of these areca and eucalyptus were ascertained and reported.
