Structure of Geodesic Domes

Abstract


Geodesic dome structure is a major breakthrough concept in the field of architecture which became widely popular in 20th century with the contributions from R. Buckminster Fuller who was an American architect, author, designer, and inventor. This paper deals with the geometrical pattern, strength and construction techniques of a geodesic dome.
